I’ve been to China several times now. In total I have stayed here for neatly a year. During my various trips I have had many undesirable interactions with all sorts of people.

I woke up a bit bewildered and scribbled down a few notes. I could only remember a few lyrics – “the lights will guide you home” – I didn’t understand what they meant, but they seemed important. After all, this is the song that God had just played for me.
Fix You, by Coldplay! This is the song God wants me to hear? Weird.
As I listen to the lyrics though, I understood why. Taken into the context of my life, the song offered specific advice for how I am to orientate my life. I recently used DesignCrowd.com to crowdsource a logo for Go Hero. Crowdsourcing is a process that gets a “crowd,” i.e. many people, to participate on a single project. Often this is done as a collaboration, example Wikipedia. In this case however, it was a competition. More than 30 designers competed and together they submitted more than 200 designs.
